colorful stripes in circular knitting

I am a new member and want to say hello to everyone.
I am trying to knit a preemie baby cap with dpn in stripes. My problem is that when I change the colors you can tell on the right side. Please help!

You might be knitting the hat inside out. Some people do that by accident when they are first doing circular knitting. If so, just continue the way you're doing, then turn it right side out when you finish!
