Newborn Socks

I've never attempted anything like socks..
&&since I'm due in may... I figured that gives me enough time to try, &&perfect a few pairs for my peanut


Does anybody have any tried &&true
EASILY knit baby sock patterns?

There are also many cute bootie patterns including some that are knit flat if you aren't ready to knit in the round.
