Can anyone reccommend a good book about knitting (not instructional books, actual books like the Friday Night Knitting Club) not any books that are very sad, though.

Debbie Macomber has a series of books based around a knitting store and the local townspeople who frequent the store. I believe the titles may all have Blossom Street in them but I'm not sure.

Do you like mysteries? Some of these are mysteries and are really good. I've read most of these, but not all of them yet. Here are some authors with a link to their books on Amazon.
