This is the Best Friend Cardigan by Wenlan Chia from Big City Knits.

I knit it on size 19 needles with Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Grande. This yarn is super super soft. I love it. I did not do the bobbles as instructed as I wanted a slimmer and cleaner look.

If I were to do it again I would make it a little longer than instructed. I am really petite and this is still pretty short. though I think it still looks cute.

I also would skip the buttonholes as the gauge is loose enough that the buttons can slip through. I think with the button holes you get a gaping problem, though it could be the yarn that I am using as alpaca is a little slippery.

That's very cute on you, and a great color.

Also like your kitty making a guest appearance, probably hoping you'll put the sweater down so she can cuddle up in it.

Yes, it could be a bit longer, but that length seems to be in and looks very nice on you. Beautiful yarn. Nice job on it.

Yes that's me. I was in my bedroom. I was watching TV on my new bed while I was putting on the buttons. ITS SOOOO COMFY!! its that viseo memory foam bed I actually just bought new matching set so I feel all grown up now :) I have had my college futon for years with a beat up dresser. I have an injured hip so my physical therapist ordered me a chair for my work and said I had to get a new bed so I saved up to get a new bedroom set as well.

I also love that yarn, which I've used for a few things. Your little sweater looks great!

That is really pretty! I will check out that pattern. I have not knit a sweater yet. Maybe this would be a good first sweater? I also am petite and it looks like my style.

I think this will be a good first sweater project because with the bulky yarn, big needles and minimal seaming you will not be overwhelmed.

I finished knitting the sweater in 2 nights and it took another night to seam in the sleeves and put on the buttons. the only seaming is setting in the sleeves.

I would say go for it. I think the sweater looks great on a variety of sizes. I had checked out the other projects on raverly and seriously it looked great on everyone.
