This is my FIRST knitted toy!! I've crocheted things like this before but haven't knit one. :) I think she turned out pretty cute. I'm still looking for some pretty brown ribbon for around her neck and a little brown bow to go on top of her head.

ETA: Oops - forgot the pattern. This is from "Last Minute Knitted Gifts" book.

ooohhh, I love it, it is so darn adorable. Good job. My DD said "oh look, it even has a ribbon!" so there's the critique from the 5yo. LOL

Oh, now that's adorable! I really want to make a bunny for my grandson for Easter -- this looks like a good one. Thanks for posting!

Thanks everyone!!! I think I'm going to try the elephant next. My hair dresser is having a boy in August and I think it would be perfect for her! I picked up some Bernat Soft Boucle at Michael's and thought it would make a soft, fluffy bunny. I like the end result (although it could be a tighter fabric even though I used size 6 needles) but it wasn't easy to work with.

LadyFirelyght - I'm not very good with the embroidery part of it either. Don't look too closely!! LOL

Ahhhh, BIG SMILE! He's so cute! He makes me smile with him!

I found the book at Amazon for $16. I looked at the customer images, and saw the bunny a couple times.

Your bunny is THE CUTEST one I've seen! The yarn, the face, the ears!

As it turns out I couldn't wait another month until the shower. I gave her to my daughter yesterday. She was thrilled and loved her!! She couldn't believe I had made her. :)

Mine usually end up looking like devil dolls or evil nightmares.

Yeah well, don't look TOO closely! Embroidery is not my strength! LOL I'm satisfied with her face, but it ain't all that and a bag of chips too! I was really winging it. I had wanted to use little buttons for her eyes, but was too impatient to wait until I went shopping for them. I just wanted her done!

Well, I know it's already been said, but that is the cutest little face! Great job!

You may not love her face, but we sure do, she's adorable!

So, so cute! Just made me laugh with joy to see her. It is a girl I'm sure. The ear lining is so soft looking. I love floppy eared wabbits. Really sweet face you gave her and the yarn is really special.
