oh my i just seen this lush pair of tights aprently you can knit them this is a image off google of what they kinda look like.

there soooooo cute any know know how to do this? i would love to have ago.
also i think i may have seen a jumper in this knit before hmmmm....

If you google Rodarte Stockings, you actually can find some people who have made them-- and then don't tell how they did it!:tap: Several refernces on Ravelry as well. But they talk about lots of yarn overs and knit-2-togethers and using huge needles with fine sock yarn. . .
Here's what you could do-- find a free pattern for fishnets or lace stockings on www.knittingpatterncentral.com or www.knitty.com, and then using their proportions so you get a good fit, do the above mentioned yarn overs, big needles, etc., and go from there.
By the way-- some Ravelers think they were crocheted instead of knit.:shrug:

Naw, I think they were knit from the top to the toe. You can tell on some of the lines of sts that it looks like an upside down knit.

Mmmmmmm.......... not too sure they would look right on my 57yo legs. Oh to be young and able to wear anything!!
