I knit this headband as part of the April KH-KAL. It was my first time knitting lace and knitting an I cord :happydance: . The pattern was very easy and I definitely recommend it as a beginner lace project. Here are the pattern links: Ravelry (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/mollys-headband) and Direct link (PDF) (http://www.interweaveknits.com/freepatterns/pdf/sum_06/Sweet_Somethings.pdf) (page 4)

Pretty! What yarn did you use? I wish I could wear headbands, but they always seem to slide off the back of my head lol!

Pretty! What yarn did you use? I wish I could wear headbands, but they always seem to slide off the back of my head lol!

I used Bristol Yarn Gallery : Buckingham and a size 5 needle. The yarn is fingering weight and is 80% Baby Alpaca and 20% Silk. I really like how it turned out.

Headbands usually slide off on me too, so do pony tail holders. I wore this all day yesterday and didn't have any problems. I have very fine hair and this still seemed to stay on well. I also usually have the problem of headbands poking behind me ears, this solved that!

Oh I love that! I've been meaning to make a lace headband for sometime and I think I'll try that. Beautiful job!
