I have a vintage pattern that my daughter wants me to make for her for a shawl/cape for her wedding. Wouldn't you know the wedding is June 20. The pattern is from the 50's and it is a size 12 - she is a size 20. I have her measurements. How do I convert that size 12 to a size 20 or to the measurements she needs.

What is the name on the pattern? If we can see what it looks like it would help. Or if you have a link we can see it. Don't post the pattern here though, that's a copyright violation.

You could knit it on larger needles which would give it a lacier look too. But a picture can help us give more specific answers.
