I got my Home Made Simple email this morning and it had this pot with a sweater on it. :teehee: It's cute, but IMO completely impractical unless the plant is in it's own pot and can be taken out to be watered. In this case it's a cactus though so it probably doesn't have to be done often.

This page has a pdf for felted plant pot covers made from old wool sweaters.

You wouldn't want your cactus to catch a cold, would you? :)

Actually, you could use it with any pot that doesn't have a drain hole.

Or as a decorative wrapper for gifting a plant.

Leave the top button undone, like a garden variety Abercrombie & Fitch advertising photo (a male) (http://www.adrants.com/images/abercrombie_crotch.jpg) (a female) (http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/kleykov/kleykov0904/kleykov090400064/4732180.jpg) (cacti & clowns) (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_xxJWs1i2nc0/Rp5XBYqtvpI/AAAAAAAAAIU/2-Lfh1pdk08/s400/clown_cactus.jpg)? :roflhard:

(*Disclaimer: As we all know when it comes to Abercrombie & Fitch advertising, often viewer discretion is strongly advised.)

I don't like cactus particularly so I'm thinking a good case of Swine Flu might do them some good.

I don't think it's made to cover the bottom. And if made from an acrylic or other poly type fiber, might help keep moisture from wicking through terra cotta somewhat...

That's funny, Jack! I wonder if any un-buttoned flower pot could look as sexy as those models!
(I have 2 of those cactus/clown pots!)
