Yes, it is much comfortable. Used to sit on the it, and it hurts if you sit too long.....
At least now, i sit slightly longer

Very cute, you should send a picture to Ikea, they love what customers do to use their products.

What a great idea! I have a stool I use for soap sales craft shows, and it's naked....hurts my tooshie after a few hours, so I do a lot of standing. maybe I should knit up one of these. Where would I find the pattern? or did you invent it yourself? Very clever.

i did it on my own, i started with about 15 sts depending on the thickness of the yarn. then i increase i sts every row to a certain width then i start decreasing to the first part. Then till i get the size, i pick sts along the side and k2 p2 one round.
Actually, you can do a square shape and pickup sts. k2, p2 in smaller needle so it fit in better. Mine is alittle loose inside.
