There's a group on Ravelry called Excuse Me that gives help in translating. Here's a couple links to lists of foreign language knitting terms:

If you can't find a good translator/translation there are dozens of cabled hat patterns online, too. You can always add the pompom.

I agree with Jan.

If you can't get it translated I did find this pattern and it looks very similar to your hat, but no pom pom.

I know that some of this hasn't translated but thought it might help?

You need: 200 g of lilac-colored wool, color No. 2905 from Gedifra, quality "Highland Alpaca" (50% alpaca, 50% wool, runlength 41 m/100 g), knitting needles strength 12th
Cables: 1 Series: 1 edge., * 3 M. li., 1 M. re., 1 envelope, 2 M re., Ab * continuously repeat, 1 edge. 2. Series: 1 edge., * 2 M. li. The Umschl. Vorreihe the fall and the following M. apart, the thread is in front of the needle, 3 M. re. ab * continuously repeat, 1 edge. 3. Series: 1 edge., * 3 M. li., 1 M. assistance on a needle before the work, 2 M re. The assistance of M. needle re. From * continuously repeat, 1 edge. 4. Series: The M. knit as they appear, re. M. re., Li. M. li. The 1-4 Series continuously repeated.
Caps: 47 M., and hit return rows knit, or 1 edge., Then the rib pattern (1st row: 2 M. li., 3 M. re. Alternately. 2nd and all subsequent rows: M . knit as they appear, re. M. re., li. M. li.) and 1 edge. The edge. are in every re R.. knitted. In the 4th R. (back row) after the 2 re. M. Querfaden from the Vorreihe 1 M. re. folded out knitting (56 M.). Then the cables are working. In 18 cm total height, in a Hinreihe and still 2-times in every 2nd R. in the left rib knitted each 2 M. li. or re. knitting together. 2 R. Then re. and the remaining M. Endfaden together with the draw. The suture and close the top of the cap a Pompon sew.

Sometimes idiomatic expression only translate by german speakers not programs....sorry....but I hope this helps!

How lucky you are that I'm good at german knitting terminology as well. So here we go. Should be error-less. If there are errors, let me know.

If you want to go with their yarn, you need 200 g violet wool, color Nr. 2905 by Gedifra, "Highland Alpaca" quality (50 % Alpaca, 50 % wool, 41 m/100 g), needles size 12.

For the cables:
1. row: 1 selvage stitch, *p3,k1,yo,k2* repeat from * to * to last stitch, k one selvage stitch
2. row: 1 selvage stitch (hereafter ss), * p2, drop yo from previous row and slip following stitch from left to right needle, with yarn in front, k3 * to last, 1 ss
3. row: 1 ss, * p3, slip 1 stitch to cable needle and keep in front, k2, k stitch from cable needle * repeat, 1 ss
4. row: Knit the knits and purl the purls

Repeat rows 1-4 for pattern

---

The hat:

Cast on 47.
Work back and forth, in ribbing
(1 row: p2,k3
2 row:knit the knits and purl the purls
3 and 4: same as 2)
DON'T FORGET THE SELVAGE STITCHES! (1 selvage stitch on either end, Always knit)
On the 4th row (now, this is confusing for me...), after the two knit stitches (shouldn't this be purl??), increase one by knitting into back loop of the vertical strand of the previous row (56 stitches)
(Don't stone me, that's what they're writing!!)

Continue in cable pattern until piece measures 18 cm. (+- 7 inch)

(Now, the following is a little confusing as well, for me)

On the right side, and two more times on every other row, knit 2/purl 2 together (the purled "columns")
Knit 2 more rows and pull tight the remainder of the stitches with the yarn tail.

Weave in the ends and sew on a pompom

hookedonknitting, your effort might be praised, even though it wasn't really that much of an effort, but it has to be said that knitting terminology tends to be VERY abbreviated, which makes mechanical translators useless, since they don't know the meaning of those abbreviations.
