I am a new knitter, and I have enjoyed making newborn hats for our local nicu.
I love Wendy Peter Pan yarn for these hats - I have been using Tinkerbell, and Velvet touch. It is so soft!
I am now attempting to make hats for my two 5-year-olds. They have really admired the nicu hats, and have asked me to make them a "softy" hat. They love how they feel.
There are many tinkerbell or velvet touch colors that are perfect for my daughter, but they look a little babyish for my 5-year-old son.
Does anyone know of another yarn, of similiar quality and softness, that perhaps has more vibrant colors? My son wants a blue hat - I was thinking navy or royal blue.
Since it is a small project, cost isn't really a factor.
