A couple of FO's from the last few months

I never seem to post my fo's when I actually finish them :)
The first is a sun hat that I made for my friend Ashleigh. I found the pattern on Ravelry, but you can also find it here (http://www.adorabubbleknits.com/pages/sunhat.php).
I used some Patons BumbleBee I had in my stash and went down a needle size. I also made the I-cord a bit longer so it would be easier to tie.

The second is a baby blanket I made for the same friend. It's another pattern I found on Ravelry but you can also find it here (http://majorknitter.typepad.com/photos/patterns/oh_so_soft_baby_blanket.html). I stash busted again and used some Red Heart Fiesta, since it's a thicker yarn than the pattern suggested, I did one less pattern repeat. It was such an easy pattern for a first time baby blanket. Sorry the color doesn't show up that well, but it's white with pastels throughout.

Cute hat and very nice blanket. The pattern is simple but pretty. I am familiar with the Fiesta yarn, I like it. Nice for a blanket. Good work.
