Patterns?

Hello,
I am new to this forum and new to knitting! I decided I should take up knitting when I discovered that sweaters made to fit my mini dachshund are extremely expensive. I have started out on the bib pattern that is in the getting started area. So far its going really well!:woot: My goal is to gain enough experience that I can get her a good warm sweater knitted before winter and maybe even a couple other warm goodies for my kids.

Anyway, my question is does anyone know what happened to the patterns that are here on knittinghelp.com? I am getting an error page when I click on a pattern listed under the patterns tab.

Also if someone can point me in the direction of some beginner patterns I would appreciate it!

Thank you for the links I will make good use of them!
The problem I am having with knittinghelp.com patterns is when I click on a link to a specific pattern from the patterns tab page. Every pattern I have clicked on gives me a "404 NOT FOUND" error page. I have tried with my desktop computer and my laptop computer. It is slightly frustrating as there a couple of patterns that I would love to do!
Are you able to open up a pattern and see the directions? If so, I will go to my mother's house and see if her computer will do it.

I found a few that worked and few that didn't. Unfortunately pattern sites often die w/o telling us. :teehee: Which ones are you interested in?

I'll see what can be done about the ones that aren't working. Seems like we just did that, too. :doh:

Which ones are you looking for? I tried a few in the womens sleeveless category and the ones from Magknits aren't available as that site has closed. The Berrocco ones are still up, as are the ones from knitty.

Hi,
I did finally get some to open but there are a couple that still won't. I am interested in the chunky hip bag, the puppy sweater and the snake (for babies in incubators). I am not sure how to tell which patterns are from magknits..I don't know if any of these are.
