I am knitting a baby tank top, its sirdar pattern 1788. I am using baby bamboo DK instead of tiny tots DK.
Its a 5:3 rib i think:
1st row K2, P3, K5,*P3, K5 rep from * to last 5sts, P3, K2
2nd row P2, K3, *P5, K3, rep from * to last 2sts, P2, K0
1st and 2nd row set patt.
My problem is that when i go from a 2nd row to a 1st row (from purl to knit) that end is really slack no matter how tight i pull the yarn. The other edge is perfect.

I just dont know if there is any point in carrying on with it, i am now past shaping the arm holes and wonder if its going to sew up ok. I dont want to have wasted the yarn either.
