View Full Version : FO: I can't believe I did it!

This is my first time posting a FO. Until now, I didn't think I had anything worthy to post.
Now, that doesn't mean I'm not proud of every single thing I've kint, but this one is SO special to me!
It's my first time doing any kind of colorwork, and my first attempt was a huge mess! I tried to strand all the colors along and...well, you can imagine what the inside of the sweater looked like!
But I didn't give up and I came here to ask for help! And help, I got! :muah:
Here it is, my Engine #9 sweater!

Your color work is great! Did you have a pattern? Or did you design your own chart? My 4 yr old dgs is really into trains, but so far the only thing I have done is train buttons.

Aw, shucks, thanks everyone!
The pattern is called Engine #9. It's free! You can google it or look on Ravelry and it'll come up.
And to pat my own back again ( :teehee: ) I want to mention that I only taught myself to knit about 8 months ago.
You can do anything if you're stubborn enough!
