I found one online with ‘Warm Woolies’
!but it’s only in a child’s size and I need an adult large or 1x size.

I think your best bet is to find one in your size. I don't think resizing a childs one that much is going to be easy. I don't know if these are your size, but you can check them out. You may need to scroll down to see them.

I looked at the ones on Ravelry from this pattern it's very, very similar to the one you linked to.
