I'm knitting booties with two needles. The pattern started at the sole, and I have finished the sole and sides, but I am confused at what the directions after that. I should be okay once I finish row 1.
The instructions say:
"This section is the top of the bootie.
k15, p2, k4, p2, k1, leave remaining sts unworked.
Slip all sts with yarn in front:
Row 1: Sl 1 from left to right needle, turn, p2, k2, p4, k2, p1
Row 2: Sl 1, turn, k2, p2, slip two sts to cable needle and hold in front, k2, k2 from cable needle, p2, k2"

I am specifically confused what slip all stitches with yarn in front means, and then how to start row 1 after that....

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Kourtnay

Hi and welcome to KH!

Slip all sts with yarn in front:

You will bring your yarn to the front and then slip the stitch to the right needle (you won't work the st). Then you will turn your work so the other side is facing you and work the sts as written.
