I just got done with the body and a friend had a camera so I just couldn't wait to share.

This sweater is for me. Its the Weekend Pullover pattern #224 from Knitting Pure and Simple on this (http://www.knittingpureandsimple.com/page2.html)page and the top down process made it so easy to try on (except for taking it on and off the needles) The bottom got cut off from the picture but the sweater is not too much longer than what you see here. I'm pretty short.

I've started one sleeve on the DPNs but I think I'm going to try the suggestion I read here about knitting both sleeves at the same time. I still don't trust myself to make the sleeves the same length.

Hopefully I will get it done by Christmas but that's only a week away!

Thanks robynbird. I love the color too - there were some beautiful jewel tones in this yarn but the denim is more flattering.

Your knitting looks very professional! Even as it is, unblocked, your stitches are turning out nice and even!

Keep up the good work!!!

Thanks everybody. I'm visiting family for Christmas so I didn't quite make it for Christmas but I've got a quarter of sleeves to go.

Its so cold I can't wait to be able to wear it.

Oh, I like that! I would love the pattern. I have a husband who is suspiciously sweaterless and that would be a great gift for him next Christmas.
