View Full Version : Boneyard Shawl question

So this pattern: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/boneyard-shawl says to make the middle stitch in the first knit row. I am unsure how to maneuver the stitch markers after the pattern calls for the increases. I have been keeping the stitch markers in the same place and have somehow ended up with 6 stitches on one side and 8 on the other. Do I need to adjust for the new stitches made in the pattern?

The stitch marker may have slipped under a YO. You should be able to find the center stitch and instead of putting markers on either side of it, tie another piece of yarn or use a removeable marker (safety pins or paper clips work well) on the stitch itself, then do YOs on either side of it.

I am hoping to start this shawl soon too! Please keep talking about it as you go along.
