My knitting so far.....

I haven't knitted much but here goes ;)

My first project was this hat, knitted on Dec 27th 09.
When I casted on for this, I was hoping it would fit my 3 yrs old son, but since I had never knitted before with more then 1 color, and had no idea how to weave the floats, the back of the pattern is sooooo tight that it could fit a Baby Born doll ! LOL :)

Then I made this hat from Unspun Icelandic Lopi and it fits me woohoo ;o) Made Dec 29th.

On Dec 30th I made this one, that actually fits my 3 yrs old son hehe :) The hearts on the hat didn't come out very clearly, but I like it and my son loves his hat :)

On Jan 4th I made this one for my 7 yrs old son, using this pattern (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ellens-knit-hat)

Jan 6th I finished this one for my niece, still don't know how to weave the floats in but it fits a grown up lol :)

Then on Jan 9th I casted on for the Potato Chip Scarf (http://www.knitpicks.com/cfpatterns/pattern_display.cfm?ID=50355222&medid=RAV#) and I finished it the next day....not the greatest pic but you get the idea :)

Your work looks great. I love the colorwork :) There's a bunch of nice easy patterns for sweaters. Making baby/child sweaters are the best way to start. Are you on Ravelry? That site is a great source for patterns. You can also get some easy patterns from sites like lionbrand.com or here:
