:happydance: Woot! My tulip socks are done!! This is my first pair of socks, and my first big colorwork project. I got the yarn from Knitpicks, which I posted here (http://www.knittinghelp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97008). The pattern was really easy to follow, and I'll definitely be making more in the future. They would make a great gift.
Yay for me! :clink:

They are so pretty! My mother's side of the family came from the Netherlands, and I can see she would just love a pair! Especially to drape next to her wooden shoes. Heck, I want a pair! Nice work! :cheering:

I wish I could design such a pretty pattern myself! This is the pattern I followed:

It turned out to be a bit easier than I expected. I'd definitely reccomend it, even for those like me who have never made socks!

Those are great! So glad you shared them (and the pattern) my daughter and nieces will go nuts for those. I just might have to try my hand at socks sooner than planned.

The yarn is Knitpicks Palette, which you can see here (http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/Palette_Yarn__D5420132.html). I used the colors hyacinth for the main part, cream for the cuffs, toes, and background for the tulips, and cosmopolitan and grass for the tulips. I really liked this yarn, especially because it's not at all itchy on my feet. It's also warm but not too hot.
Thanks again everyone!! :muah:

I am trying so hard to get the yarn I need for this. It's not easy since I was trying to find the Regia recommended. Just bought what I could at KP!
