Wow, I'm so happy with this peacoat! I love everything about it! And the sleeves are the perfect length!

I'll wear this peacoat Fall/Winter 2010. I'm still losing weight, so I knit this (and all current WIPS) to fit me by Fall. PMA. The upper body fits great, but the "caboose" is still tight!

I have some Indigo Blue (alpaca/wool blend) in my stash to knit another Yank.
Not now, but later. It's called "Chunky AL" by Elsebeth Lavold. I've had it for years.

Oh, so pretty! Besides being a great knitter, you are also great with the pictures. The yarn seems to sparkle. And the buttons are the icing on the cake.

Artlady, where do you get you buttons and closures? they are almost as amzaing as your fos! I always love looking at your work, thanks for sharing.

Mostly at Joann's! But when I can't find the right button there, I go to the Button Drawer (http://www.buttondrawer.com/), an online button store! A HUGE variety of buttons, and modestly priced.

I favor Joann's because I can take my swatch with me and "try" the button against the knit. For instance, I was thinking about brass buttons for Yank, but when I saw silver against the red knitting, I knew silver was IT!

What a beautiful sweater, Artlady. The color is one of my favorites.

Now please do tell us how you lost weight. I really need to lose some, and have never dieted (except in my 20's).

Thanks for the compliments! You know, I always say this: One good word from a fellow knitter is worth 1,000 from anyone else!

About the weight management program: Weight Watchers!
I love it BECAUSE all of the math is done for me. I can eat whatever I want to...I could eat Orville Rededbacher Movie Popcorn the entire day if I needed to or wanted to...as long as I don't exceed my daily food points allowance! I will still lose weight.

I love that kind of freedom, because I am a very weird eater.

Of course, eating for a 'healthy heart' is another thing. So, with that in mind...I would NOT EAT movie popcorn every day, or even once a week. But IF I WANTED TO, I could...and still lose weight that week! (I lost another 2.8 lbs this week!)

Weight Watchers is the best. ( For more reasons than I've noted here!)

MoniDew lost quite a bit of weight on WW food management program, too!
She inspired me...whether she knows it or not!
