FYI: Noro "Maiko" 50% off

I had purchased some hanks of NORO Maiko (dk) at our LYS sale bin, but they didn't have as much as I would like. So I ventured into WEBS online, and they are offering all of the colors at half price! Reg $10.95 (ouch) for $5.49 (nice!) and with a generous 132 yds per hank!

The Maiko doesn't stripe like most Noro's, nor does it have a lot of crazy colors, like most Noro's. It is kind tweedy-esque! It goes well with the new Noro Retro (http://www.yarn.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/product.detail/categoryID/BB13F0EC-A748-4B27-9F45-2F328EA3A875/productID/F7226483-AA77-4E07-80AA-AC9D12BA5354/), that has subtle colorwaves in the same color.

Maiko is 35% Wool/30% Kid Mohair/35% Silk. Sweet! Check out the 13 colors available!

Shipping charge too high for Colorado...

Shipping is always a bugger, but for now, they don't charge sales tax and I save 9.3% here in my county, and that is a huge offset! Their shipping to me is less than my county sales tax. :happydance:

And then you factor in the sale prices (40-50% off!);
plus the 25% discounts they offer on full price yarns. You can't beat it!

I did a sort of faux order for my favourite wool yarn (currently) but they would have charged $9+ in shipping to Colorado (not to Canada where I currently am...moving at the end of summer, eh????) I wish they had the "spend $50 and get free shipping" like Knitpicks does. :(
