I have not posted on here in a little while but I had to share this bag it is so easy and fun to make, the pattern is from Ravelry and the yarn I used is Patons SWS.

Hi!
this looks nice! Will you share a link to the pattern? "Bag" on Ravelry might be confusing. Does the handle stretch a lot? Or did you do something to prevent that? I have not done knitted handles this way since childhood days and just don't know. (I might enforce it with fabric or pull a rope / beld / strap through the handle... but do you need to?) |
I am not sure how to share the link. The Handle is a 12 rows of garter stitch it called for 90 st but I wanted it a little longer so I made 120 st it is pretty stretchy before felting but not after.

OK I think this is what I am supposed to do.http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/chevron-bag

Nice job!

thanks for the link and info! The felting thing is still new for me :)

It's beautiful! :yay:

Very 1960's. I love it. How many hours do you guess it takes ya?
|
It's hard to say maybe 5 or 6 total over a few days.Once you get the pattern down it seems to go really fast.

Very nice -- it reminds me of a hippie bag from the 60's. Love it!
