double yo

Pattern calls for several double yo. Is it a simple wrap around twice?..it makes the hole so big,is that the plan? thanks as always.:aww:

Yes, that is how you do it. Just yarn over 2 times. Usually the idea is to make a bigger hole, but it can be combined with some other fancy steps to achieve some special goal. If it is just for a bit hole and nothing else and you don't like it so big you could just do a single yarn over. But if it is part of something else that is going on you may need it to get things to work.

Yes, wrap twice and it would make a big hole if you drop one of the loops on the next row. Sometimes you do that for elongated sts, but sometimes you k1 into one loop and p1 (or ktbl) into the other loop so it increases a stitch. So look to see what you do with it on the next row.
