Help needed with brim on hat
I am a fairly new knitter and am working on a brimmed hat. I have completed the lower peak (I cast on 76 sts to start the lower peak and then used simplified short-row shaping to do the rest and bound off as instructed.) Next step is moving on to the upper peak. The directions say:
With RS facing pick up and knit 2 sts from first row-end edge of lower peak, 76 sts from cast on edge, then 2 sts from other row-end edge. 80 sts. Row 1 (WS) Knit. From there I follow, but I am completely lost on the first part. I appreciate any help you might have. Thanks!! |
There's a video on the Tips page for picking up stitches, if that's what you don't understand. If that's not it, can you be more specific?

Clarification
Thanks for the video suggestions. I guess what I am confused about is where I am supposed to pick up the stitches. When the pattern says pick up 2 stitches from the first row-end edge where are they referring to?
