Decreasing in ribbing
I'm shaping the bodice of a baby dress. Pattern is in a k1, p1 rib.
Pattern says: Working back and forth in rib, bind off 2 sts at beginning of next two rows, then decrease 1 st each end every other row 3 times If I k2tog I will then have two knit stitches next to each other, so should I ssp? Any suggestions welcome!! Thanks!! |
If you worked ssk and k2tog on the edges for the decrease, you could just work those stitches in rib on the next row since I imagine you'll be seaming and won't even see them.
Or, you could work p2tog and ssp on the edges. It's really up to you. |
