I think I can finish this tiny tote....

if just a few of you experts can help out!!

I'm finishing up a a pretty easy tiny tote purse. The pattern instructions are short, and I've included them here. My ?s are in parenthesis.

The pattern is as follows: Cast on 26 stchs. garter for 2 rows, then stockinette until 18inches from beginning, end on purl row. (Does this mean I've ended on my knit row before beginning purling or does it mean go ahead and PURL the row and that is the END before moving on to next part of pattern?)

continuing with pattern instructions: Next row make buttonhole. (Does this mean begin making a buttonhole at the start of this row or in the middle of this row?)

Continuing with pattern instructions: Knit 12, YO, k2tog, knit 12, knit 2 rows. Bind off.

From here, I get the rest of the pattern which explains how to make the strap for the purse. Thanks for all your help, experts! :)

--These are the instructions that include the buttonhole. They're just telling you that you're about to do it.

I love tiny purses. Any chance you can post a pic when finished? Would like to see it.
