The Bernat website is hosting a KAL/CAL beginning on Feb 28th, where we will be knitting and crocheting baby blankets for Project Linus. cloud9

You have a choice of making one or all of the 4 blankets shown on the page. (The pattern will be displayed on Feb 28th.) Right now, you can order yarn for your project at a 25% discount on the Bernat website.

I plan on making all of them! I just love knitting for charity.

Does anyone else want to join in the KAL or CAL?

I have enlisted a group of young (ages 17-21) community volunteers to help knit afghans. I have been able to collect donations of yarn for them to knit with.

Tomorrow is the day! Bernat's new Crochet & Knit Along for Project Linus is now happening. They have provided a brand new discussion forum for us, so we can talk about our blankets as we make them together. Fun! :cheering:

I'll be busy over there, moderating the Bernat forum. But, I'll also be checking in here as often as I can. I hope that some of you will join us in knitting and crocheting baby blankets!
