FO - Patchwork Pleaser Baby Blanket
A year and a half ago, I made the Tree of Life Afghan for one of my church's youth pastors and his new wife...
![]() Well, they are expecting a baby in a couple of weeks, so I wanted to make them a set of gifts that would continue to show them how much I care for them (they've mentored both of my children over the years). I made this blanket to accompany the hat and booties I had also knit up. This is the Patchwork Pleaser blanket, and it's in a book I had purchased a while back. ![]() I used Lion Brand's Pound of Love in Antique White. Surprisingly, this project required only 700 yards of yarn. I used size 11 needles. ![]() This was an easy pattern and has a vintage look and feel to it... ![]() I worked five complete repeats plus one final row to even things out. ![]() I was so happy to be able to finally gift these as I'd had them finished a few months ago. Thanks for looking!! :muah: |
Beautiful work and lovely, thoughtful gifts. They both look truly gorgeous.

Wow! The afgan is impressive and the baby blanket looks very comfy. Those loose strands of yarn add an interesting effect.

Both of them are just exquisite!!!:muah:

Beautiful.

It is DIVINE! Wonderful work!

Both are beautiful! I really want to make a tree of life afghan one day. I see it every time I search for a new blanket. It's wonderful.
