About yarn processing

Hey guys, I am studying textile engineering and sometime I am very curious about how the yarn is processed from natural fibres. Its really a matter of joy to buy some yarn ingredients and I don't know how to start; any idea please.

I don't comb, card, or spin, but this video from our friendly KnittingHelp people will probably answer TONS of your questions. :)

Buy or make yourself a spindle, get some wool, view this video (or other videos by Abby Franquemont) and get started!

A couple of good books that will help you with your studies are In Sheep's Clothing and The Big Book of Hand Spinning
