This is my first attempt at knitting a baby blanket. I knit it on the diagonal and used the pattern for a dishcloth ha ha! It's not perfect but I can't wait to give it to my cousins wife for baby Irelynn.

Beautiful! Very well done. Looks nothing like a dishcloth to me! Isn't it great that some things are so adapable? Keep up the great work.

Thank you! Yes so fabulous that all I had to do was use more stitches and ta daa! I am also happy I found use for the yarn!

I think it looks like the one that gets dragged around because the child loves it so much. It might not make it heirloom status. :yay:

Oh, this is simply beautiful...!
Love the little detail around the edges and the colour is perfect.
Nice going... love the baby's name as well... so pretty!
