FO: Silky Wool "Pinnate Cardigan"
FINALLY DONE! :woohoo:
This PINNATE cardigan ALMOST got tossed into our campfire in the mountains a few weeks ago! The yarn had so much trash embedded in it, which was particularly visible when I was knitting in the sunshine! It drove me very crazy. My husband accused me of being crazy to take the time to pluck this yarn clean. (My Ravelry Notes) Anyway, I simmered down and just began plucking away at the trash using tweezers as I knit along. It doubled the time it took to get this done. All's well that ends well, they say. :eyes: ![]() Above: the cardigan hemline isn't uneven. It's just how I'm standing. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
I have been there and done that, but if nothing else, knitting does teach us patience. It is a beautiful cardigan and perfect color I think.

Absolutely stunning--as usual for your creations! I'm sorry to hear you had trouble with this yarn. Here's hoping the next pattern, yarn, and experience will be relaxing and enjoyable . . . in short, everything knitting ought to be.
Personally, I would have renamed this "Sulky Wool"! :teehee: |
There are just two words for this sweater on you: Gor-geous! Worth every plucking minute.
|
It turned out beautifully and looks great on you too. Your whole outfit looks great.
|
That came out gorgeous!
|
WOW that is beautiful and your knitting is perfection. I love it. I wouldnt have been patient about picking the yarn, you must be incredibly patient. I think this should be on a magazine cover, it is incredible.

OMG, ArtLady! You do such beautiful work! :notworthy:
|
I see the front and back match, but I really like the picture of the how the back looks. A really pretty, feminine sweater.
