Help with Debbie Bliss baby blanket

i really hope someone can help
i am trying to knit my babies a blanket from the "knits to give" book but i am stuck on the 9th row and cannot fathom it out. when i knit it, i seem to get. 14 stitches per repeat instead of 15- can anyone tell me here i am going wrong
the pattern is this: p2( yon, k1, yf, sl1, k2tog, psso, k9, p2). at present i amslipping the slipped stitch over the k2tog-is that correct?
Any help much appreciated as i am on my 3rd attempt already

It does look like you should get 15.

yon, k1, yf, sl1, k2tog, psso, k9, p2
. 1....2...3...........4.............13..15

Are you making sure you get a yo out of the yf before the sl1, k2tog, psso?

Ah, i did wonder if i was doing that section correctly, i'll try that and het back to you if i'm still struggling!
