knit in 'bar'
 

my instructions say 'knit in bar before next stitch' not sure which 'bar' to pick up? anyone help?:??

The bar is the connection that formed between the two sts on the previous row. Here's a video that shows how to pick it up if you want to increase without leaving a hole.

It's the strand of yarn between stitches.
