Knitting Firsts!

Ok! I just started knitting this week and I've learned that there is so much to learn! I just learned to knit stitch and I am in the process of learning to purl stitch. I am so glad I found this site. I hope to use the videos along my journey.

Hi, and welcome. I've been knitting more than 45 years and I still manage to learn something new every week or two. Mostly just new ways of combining stitches or shaping. You don't have to learn it all though, and the videos here help a lot.

welcome, I started knitting less than 6 months ago and am quite addicted. So far I have made 3 pairs of slippers, 2 washcloths, 1 lace scarf, a cable scarf, 2 tank tops, 1 shawl, 2 hats and am currently working on another pretty silk/alpaca top and another hat. I can't seem to stop!

I love knitting. There is so many choices in patterns, yarns & techniques.
I love the usefulness of what one can make, and the color choices that are available.

Ive learned from all over. This site, and now the forum. Youtube, & knitpicks.-one of my favorite supplie(s) site.

Thank you all for making me feel welcomed! It's great to have a support system when learning a new craft. I hope to acquire the enthusiasm and love for knitting that I see in all of you as well as many projects under my belt. I am documenting my knitting progress with a blog and any hints, comments, or tips are most definitely appreciated! Thank you all for your encouraging responses!
