Baby Booties

Does anyone know an easy baby bootie pattern? I have never knitted some, but want to. Can I use circulars or do I have to use straights? If I can use circulars what length?
Thank you

There are scads and scads of baby bootie patterns out there. Have you looked on ravelry.com?

Also, many are done on circular needles (or DPNs), and there are some that you knit back and forth and seam up the back, too. Generally, if you're going to use magic loop to knit in the round, your needles should have a fairly long cord--like 32 or 36 inches (not sure the exact measurement there).

I say dive into the world of patterns and find something you like. Then from there if you get stuck, come here and someone will unstick you.

This is one of my favorite sites. Bev has quick and easy baby booties done on two needles.

Here are a couple of easy patterns. I like the ribbed cuffs because they help keep the booties on the footies.
