Hurricane Relief Effort

Hi, ya'll, been missing for a while, but thought I'd pop in to say hi.

:waving:

I have a friend from a different (type of) forum who was looking for some volunteers to knit/crochet some warm clothes for the Hurricane Sandy relief effort. She said she and another friend were looking into getting a PO box, but were waiting to see if there was enough interest.

Anyone with some stash that need to be cleaned out? ;) If you are interested, let me know, and I'll post the link to their FB page. (I would post it now, but don't have it yet.)

Glad to see everyone! :grphug:

Okay, I thought I might clarify.

The gals want to knit warm clothes for the people who have lost their houses and facing the cold winter ahead. Anything warm, large or small, she said they'd love. I think their main focus right now is Staten Island, the Jersey Shore, and the Rockaways.

And here is a link, let me know if it doesn't work.
