How can I read this chart properly?

Hi!:muah:
I have a knitting chart for a baby dress and I solved all the symbols except the one like T (bent to the left or right) with a dash at the top  ..

It's kind of urgent, my mother-in-law asked me to knit it for her new baby grand daughter, she can't knit well herself..

Could you please help me with it?

Thanks

Hi and welcome!
Have you looked for a key to the chart? It should be located close to the chart itself and it should explain all the symbols. It may be farther along in the pattern. The symbol might be a variation on k2tog through the back loop. That would balance out the stitch count across the row.
Can you give us a link to the pattern or the pattern name?

Hi again and thanks for the reply:)

Sadly, the yarn company that I've taken the pattern from changed its website design and removed the pattern:( I asked from them to send me the chart they mentioned on the pattern as "please follow the chart from here" and they sent me the chart..
Later, when I checked the website for the explanation of the chart symbols, I found the basic ones like V, O, bent T, - but not the one I'm looking for: the T bent with a dash over it..

I sent an email to them asking for info but no reply yet..I searched so many websites both in Turkish and in English, but couldn't find the same symbol..

A - is a purl, a \ is a SSK so I think the \ with the - is a purl maneuver maybe through the back loop. P2tog through the back loop. Try that out. Either that or just purl 2 tog.

OK I think we have the bets and all say 2tog from the back loop ;):grphug: thank you girls :muah:
