Plymouth pattern 1945
plymouth 1945 Can someone help me with plymouth yarn pattern 1945. I am knitting the fronts, at the point of shaping the neck edges.
I cannot figure out how to continue with the four rows of pattern stitch as I decrease. I tried decreasing the first stitch, then continuing on with the pattern as if I didn’t decrease a stitch, that does not work. Are you supposed to decrease a 1 stitch and then ignore the first stitch of the pattern? (for the first decrease I would ignore the K1, starting the row with slip one stitch purlwise, etc. Any help?? |
I this it?

Basically, every time you decrease a stitch on the needles, you'll need to decrease a stitch in the written instructions. Sometimes it's just easier to look at the pattern and think backwards (something I do all too often) to where you should begin the row. |
