curling of scarf?

I have taught myself the basics of knitting but the problem I am having is my scarf is about 2 feet long using the stockenette stich and the edges are curling in how do I fix this issue? I am new at this so any ideas would be welcome Thanks

I see that you've found some good advice from older threads. Here's the beginning of a series on curling stockinette stitch and some ways to cure it that may help too.

Stockinette will always curl - it's alternate name is 'stocking stitch' because it's used for stockings/socks as it curls around the leg. Blocking won't flatten it out on the edge, though it may help the middle a little; using another stitch for border edges can help them from roling under.
