2 m1's next to each other
Hello. I know how to work a m1 however I have a chart that is for mittens and it is asking me to make 2 (m1) next to each other. so it' looks like this m1 m1 then P, I don't know how to do this. Can someone help me??

You can do different ones - do one as lift the yarn from the row below and ktbl, then do a backward loop on the needle.

I encountered this problem just today, not from a pattern but because of how I decided to increase the first time for mitten thumbs. I did pretty much just what you said, suzeeq, and it worked just fine. I'm glad to know I did it *right*.

Well, you could always do the backward loop first, then the m1... But that's the only way I could think of to do it.

I used M1 and KLL or KRL depending on how I wanted it slanted. I never even thought of the backward loop. duh. Would've been easier. I had to think about it. I'd done it already so I'd put it out of my mind.
