pattern teminology
 

Hi,
What does UP 1 mean
my pattern says knit 22, then up1[u] knit another 2 then up 1 again !!!

It probably means to increase. So knit 22, increase 1, knit 2 increase 1.
It should be defined somewhere in the pattern. Usually at the beginning or end there's a list of definitions.
