Border help

I'm making a washcloth and I used a trellis lace stitch for the bottom border. How do I mirror it when I get to the top? I think I would start with the third row but I am not sure...:knitting:

You could just start with row 1 and work the border as given. It won't be an exact mirror but should still look good. For an exact mirror, the simplest thing to do is to knit a separate border and then graft or use 3-needle bind off to attach the purl rows of the border to the live sts of the washcloth.
Is this similar to the pattern stitch you used?

The exact one! LOL. Thanks for the advice,
