Searching for an old pattern pamphlet..........

About 25 years ago I bought a booklet/pamphlet with 2 knitting and 2 crochet patterns for baby blankets in it. I probably threw it away when it got torn up. Now I want another one, but I can't even remember the name of the company that printed it!!

Does anyone know of any websites that I could use for my search to find it?? This is soooooooo frustrating!!

One of the crochet blankets was made of little granny squares that only had 1 round of color and the outer round was white. One of the knit patterns was a lacy pattern in all yellow. The other knit pattern was like a feather/fan pattern in green/yellow/white.

I'm not sure even what words to search with!! Any hints/tips will REALLY be appreciated/needed!!!!!

Thanks so much!

That's going to be hard since 25 years ago the internet was just starting to come out, and unless someone scanned it you are going to have a problem finding it.... Do you remember the name at all? You can try and google a double knit/ crochet and see if maybe it will come up. I would also try your local library and see if maybe they can get it.

Luckily there are sites devoted to archiving knitting patterns. You just might get lucky and find your pamphlet here or maybe something else will come close.

I found a vintage knitting booklet that I had searched and searched for...on Ebay.

If you want to take the time...and if you haven't alread done so...just type in vintage knitting booklets...and you'll get pages of things.

Salmonac...thanks for that link, too!

In reading your email, I was prompted to look for a magazine that I have been searching for years now to find - it is forty years old. I mistakenly thought that the crocheted shawl was featured on the front cover. At the time I had first seen it my mother's friend told me it was impractical and so I did not purchase a copy of the magazine for myself. I found it! It was on etsy and the vendor had a number of the projects from this issue pictured.

I knew that this magazine was from the 1970's so I included that in my search, as well as a description of the project; also I thought that it could have been a needlework magazine and included this, and used the words "pictures" "images" in the search bar.

I encourage you to keep looking, as ArtLady suggests, ebay is an excellent place to find what you are looking for, there are numerous copies of my magazine there, now that I know what I am looking for.

I would try 1990's knit crochet patterns baby blankets pictures images as a start, and maybe a description of the projects.

Good luck!

Great news! I'm so glad you found it and it indeed looks like very pretty patterns. Hope we get to see one as a finished project.
