Your favorite dishcloth pattern?

So I'm making dish clothes... lots of them. I've done a few Grandmothers favorite, and Double Bump... I'm looking for your faves, to give them a shot! I've been through tons of patterns, but wanted input from you all :)

Right now I'm making a mitered square cloth. You might like to try one. It's really easy.

Thanks, GG. Gonna try one now!!

ArtLady posted photos of mitered square things she's done, which I think included an afghan. They have lots of possibilities for making really interesting pieces. When I was told they're easy I thought, yeah, right, but they really are. Have fun. I'm thinking of interesting ways to use them. You'll probably come up with lots of ideas, I'd love if you shared them.

I watched the video and downloaded the pattern. I know k2tog, but I've never done the SSK. Off to find a video on that!! Thanks again!

Amy has an "improved" ssk video here on KH, that's the one I use.

Thanks again! Lol. Watched the one by VeryPinkKnits, I'll watch Amy's now!!

Here's another one you might consider, a slip stitch pattern. It gives a basketweave effect, is fun to knit and is similar to one that ArtLady posted (thank you Dollyce).

I'd like to try that one next, salmonmac. I looked at it earlier, but the 2 colors scare me. Lol. I'm knitting the mitered one in variegated now, will try the 2 colors next. Thank you very much!!

That's the little secret about slip stitch patterns. You only knit with one color at a time but the finished piece looks much more complicated. Enjoy your different patterns, it's great experience and fun.
