Converting from a pattern from flat knitting to knitting in the round

I have a pattern that I an converting and I'm stumped with how to convert a stitch

In Flat:
RS: [k2tog, yo, k2] 3 times
WS:[p2tog tbl, yo, p2] 3 times

In the Round:
RS: [k2tog, yo, k2] 3 times
WS:[k2tog tbl, yo, k2] 3 times or [k2tog, yo, k2]

Which should I use? Or would you suggest something else

I am trying to convert a Tahki Stacy Charles pattern -Mantova Lacy Top. It is available at www.tahkistacycharles.com

This is the cable and lace chart? I would read the lines of the chart right to left on all rows.
Roound 1 k2tog yo, k2
Round 2 k2, yo, ssk
That way, the decreases will slant in opposite directions on alternate rows as in the chart. You might try it out on a swatch to see that it's giving you the pattern you want.

Fortunately charts are provided for this pattern, making it much easier to convert to knitting in the round. I agree with salmon, the ssk in row 2 will slant the stitch in the correct direction.
