Translate Russian for cute sweater

Below is the link to the cutest sweater EVER! My problem is it's in Russian. I've tried Google translate and other online translate sites. The entire pattern does not translate correctly. I think maybe it's specific knitting terms that do not translate well. For example, the instructions for one line translate as 1st through 56th "district". I think that probably means "rows". Anyway, if anyone has a Russian friend who can provide better translation, specifically for the chart symbols with explanation, I would greatly appreciate it!

I think it's crocheted. Do you happen to know the name of the pattern in English?

Okay. That sounds more like a description than pattern name. Couldn't find anything. I did find this group on Ravelry that helps with translations.

That's cute, too and it's knitted. I think I like the cardigan better myself. ;)

One of the physicians that I work with is Russian. If you can wait til I see her again she would probably be glad to translate the pattern. I'm not sure when she will be at the hospital next so it may be a few weeks. Let me know if you'd like me to ask her.

Absolutely! I'm in no hurry, and obviously can't do much with it as is ;)

I appreciate any help!

I printed the pattern out yesterday and will take it to work. Hopefully our Russian DR. will be available in the near future.
