...these are for toddlers. Red hat is single strand but pink hat is double-stranded for a much thicker hat. Tops of hats are too nice to hide with a pompom...maybe next time. Used #9 needle for pink hat and #7 for red hat. Both hats have a lot of stretch.

Out of curiosity, what did you put inside them to take your pictures?

If you click on either picture of the two hats you'll get a good view of an old ball of Bernat Denim yarn that I used to make a sweater for one of my daughters many moons ago. ;)

lots of stretch= lots of years to wear! My soon to be 6 year old grandson loves the one I made him when he was 3!

Oh, both hats are so adorable and look nice and warm. Yes, for sure the stretch is a good idea. Very nicely done!
